Free reassignment lets you control most component from any Component Select button: the CD Player from the VCR2 button, for example.

Option button lets you control an additional piece of infrared remote equipment, including a room lighting system, automatic window curtains or a second A/V component in any category-for example when your system contains two CD Players or both a Cable Box and a Satellite Receiver.

15 "Macro" functions lets you program sequences of up to 16 commands; for example, a single macro can set up your DVD Player, Television and A/V Receiver for optimum DVD playback; each macro executes at the touch of a button.

Automatic Power-On with Sony components; you can program each component to turn on automatically, as soon as you hit the corresponding Component Select key.

Automatic input select lets you program the Amplifier or Television to select a source component as soon as you hit the corresponding Component Select key.
